In all your Events created in Watchity, you can add different media files to enrich your productions and broadcasts. To get an optimal result, we recommend some parameters and dimensions for the images, graphics and videos you use.
🎞 Video files
Upload to your Media Library all those videos that you want to use in your Event. The supported video formats in Watchity are .jpeg .mp4 .mov and .avi
Make sure they meet the 16:9 aspect ratio (H264) and that their bitrate is in between 1.5 and 3 Mbps Not sure you meet the requirements? Use this video converter here.
🖼 Images and graphics
Upload to your Media Library all those images and graphics that you want to use in your Event. The supported image formats in Watchity are .png .jpg and .jpeg
Depending on which program position you want them to be displayed, we recommend a series of dimensions (What are program positions?).

To use in fullscreen position:
We recommend that the images or videos you want to use in fullscreen position are 1280x720 px.

To use in central position:
We recommend that the images or videos you want to use in central position are 1024x576 px.

To use in presentation position:
We recommend that the images or videos you want to use in presentation position are 1024x576 px.

To use in two speakers positions (left or right):
We recommend that the images or videos you want to display in the speakers positions are included in a container of maximum 576x324px.

To use in corner positions (upper or lower):
We recommend that the images or videos you want to display in the corners are included in a container of maximum 426x240px.

To use in small central position:
We recommend that the images or videos you want to use in small central position are 576x324 px.

To use in subtitles/chyrons position:
We recommend that the images you want to display in the subtitles position are included in a container of maximum 1280x200px.

To use a mask in full layer position:
We recommend that the images or videos you want to use in full layer position are 1280x720 px.
💡 Watchity tip
To achieve an optimal display result, we recommend that the images that you want to use as subtitles or in one of the corners do not occupy the entire container. Take a look at these two examples:
- In green, we can see a logo located inside a 426x240px container.
However, the logo image does not need to touch the edges of the container. - In red, we can see a logo also inside a 426x240px container.
In this case, the logotype image is too big, don't you think? It doesn't need to touch the edges of the container! You will get better aesthetic results if it doesn't.
